Seven Iranian Red Crescent Relief Posts and Branches Damaged in Airstrikes

TEHRAN, 05 March 2026 (IRCS) - The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) released ‎a statement detailing the extent of the damage that the country and the IRCS have ‎sustained since the start of the US-Israel airstrikes.‎




The attacks have continued since the start of the US‑Israel airstrikes on Iran on February 28.


According to the IRCS, 174 of Iran’s counties have been affected to date.


The US and Israel have conducted 1,332 attacks across 636 sites.


The US and Israel have attacked 105 civilian sites and centers so far.


Furthermore, 21 relief and medical centers have sustained serious damage from attacks by the US and Israel to date.


The airstrikes have dmaged seven relief posts and branches belongs to the Iranian Red Crescent, including Alborz County Red Crescent branch in Qazvin province, Khomein County Red Crescent branch in Markazi province, Baneh County Red Crescent branch in Kordestan province, Tajrak relif post in Hamedan province, Zalian relief post in Lorestan province, Rehabilitation center in Tehran and relief warehouse in Bushehr county.


In addition, three Red Crescent relief vehicles and one ambulance in Tehran have been taken out of service.


Moreover, 14 medical centers in the provinces of Tehran, West Azarbaijan, Hormozgan and Bushehr have been damaged following the airstrikes.


Since the beginning of the US-Israel airstrikes on Iran, 1,748 specialized relief teams, comprising 6,370 aid workers and rescuers, have participated in the relief and humanitarian operations, according to the Iranian Red Crescent statement.
