Video: IRCS Teams Recover Bodies in Tehran’s Resalat Area
TEHRAN, 09 March 2026 (IRCS) - Aid workers from the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) have been deployed to the Resalat area of Tehran, where they are conducting search and rescue operations at a residential complex destroyed in an Israeli airstrike.
Iranian Red Crescent relief teams are recovering bodies from the rubble.
Today, the United States and Israel continued their airstrikes on residential areas in Tehran.
The Iranian Red Crescent Society and the National Committee for Humanitarian Rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in their third statement, referring to the increasing casualties and damage inflicted on civilian targets during the recent airstrikes, called on governments, international organizations, members of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and human rights institutions to actively step in to safeguard human dignity and ensure the implementation of the rules of international humanitarian law.
