Red Crescent Teams Deployed to Sirik After Airstrike Leaves 50 Injured and 4 Killed
BANDAR ABBAS, 02 September 2026 (IRCS) - Aid workers from the Hormozgan Red Crescent provincial branch assisted 50 people injured following a U.S. airstrike on a residential house in Sirik, which killed four people, including one child.
On the evening of September 1, a residential home in the southern port city of Sirik, Hormozgan province, was targeted by a U.S. airstrike while a wedding ceremony was taking place.
The attack resulted in four martyrs, including a child, and left 50 others injured.
The Red Crescent immediately dispatched operational teams to the scene to provide emergency aid and transport the injured people to medical centers.
The Hormozgan Red Crescent reports that most of those injured were women and children.
