IRCS Sends Relief Teams to Mehran after Quake
ILAM, 3 June 2020 (IRCS) - Iranian Red Crescent has sent relief and assessment teams to Saleh Abad division, Mehran County, in the western province of Ilam after a 5 magnitude earthquake shook the area.
At 12:46 p.m. (local time) Wednesday, 3 June, a magnitude-5 tremor shook Saleh Abad border area in Ilam province at the depth of 11 km underground, according to the Seismology Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University.
Following the quake, Iranian Red Crescent sent three teams to the scene.
No damage or deaths have been reported so far.
