Red Crescent Shelters Affected Households after Landslide
GORGAN, 31 March 2020 (IRCS) - Red Crescent has sheltered 25 households after a landslide impacted a locality in an urban area in the northern province of Golestan.
At 13:15 local time on Tuesday, a landslide happened in Sad Abad County in Aq Emam Village, Maraveh Tappeh County, Golestan Province.
The landslide affected 25 houses including 100 people.
Red Crescent relief workers provided emergency sheltering for the affected families in a school and houses in nearby villages. Food packages have also distributed among the households. No casualties were reported.
