“In the immediate moments following the attacks, while the area of the incident was still fraught with danger and insecurity, the courageous and self-sacrificing aid workers of the Iranian Red Crescent immediately appeared on the scene without hesitation; these faithful and committed individuals, despite being in a fasting state and under harsh, wartime conditions, spared no effort with a spirit of Jihad and hearts filled with love for the people, in order to save the lives of their compatriots,” wrote Dr. Pir Hossein Kolivand in his message.

“At a time when the enemy, in open disregard for international humanitarian principles and laws, is savagely targeting people and civilian infrastructure, the Iranian Red Crescent aid workers, with hands filled with compassion and responsibility, have become the messengers of hope, calm, and life, demonstrating that humanity remains alive and steadfast even under fire,” he added.

The President of the IRCS emphasized that undoubtedly, history will bear witness that in these difficult days, it was this great Red Crescent family that kept the lamp of hope lit amidst the fire and danger, proving that service to humanity is the highest manifestation of faith and human responsibility.
