Iranian Red Crescent Seeks Status of Pilots, Qatar Pledges Cooperation,
TEHRAN, 14 September 2026 (IRCS) – Pir Hossein Kolivand, President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), today held an online meeting with Abdullah Sultan Al-Qattan, Acting Secretary General of the Qatar Red Crescent Society, to call for a follow-up on the status of the three Iranian pilots currently detained in Qatar.
The Qatari official pledged his full cooperation in pursuing the matter and obtaining updates regarding the condition of the three pilots.
Furthermore, both sides discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in relief and educational fields, as well as updating the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two National Societies.
