Mr. Saleh Abdulmajid Al-Douma
President of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society
The Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran extends its respectful greetings to you, your colleagues, and the dedicated volunteers of the Sudanese Red Crescent Society.
With deep sorrow, we have learned of the occurrence of massive landslide in the mountainous region of Jebel Marra in West Darfur State, following the heavy rains, which unfortunately have resulted in the loss of many lives and tragically buried the entire village of Tarsin under mud and rocks.
On behalf of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we offer our heartfelt condolences and solidarity to you, the Sudanese Red Crescent Society, and especially to the families affected by this tragic event.
In these challenging times, we stand with you and express our readiness to provide any necessary humanitarian assistance, including the deployment of emergency and medical teams, should the need arise.
We sincerely wish you and your colleagues continued strength, health, and success in your noble humanitarian efforts.
Dr. Pir Hossein Kolivand
President
