President of Iraqi Red Crescent Expresses Sympathy with Iranian Counterpart
BAGHDAD, 10 May 2026 (IRCS) - Yaseen Ahmed Abbas, President of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, sent a message of condolence to Pir Hossein Kolivand, President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), following the death of a member of the IRCS president’s mother.
The full message from the President of the Iraqi Red Crescent to his Iranian counterpart reads as follows:
On behalf of Iraqi Red Crescent Society's staff, volunteers and myself, I would like to express you our deep sorrow and condolence feelings to your respectful side and estimated family for the loss of your beloved mother.
We hope that her soul to rest in the heaven, with our sincere sympathy with you during this difficult times.
