After the disaster, which caused fatalities and significant damage, Pir Hossein Kolivand, President of the IRCS, sent a message to the Chairperson of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society. In it, he declared the IRCS's readiness to deploy emergency and medical relief teams.

Dear Mrs. Chairperson,

The Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran extends its respectful greetings to you, your colleagues, and the dedicated volunteers of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society.

With deep sorrow, we have learned of the occurrence of widespread floods in various regions of Pakistan, including the mountainous area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir, following heavy monsoon rains, which unfortunately have resulted in the loss of many lives and the disappearance of dozens of others.

On behalf of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we offer our heartfelt condolences and solidarity to you, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society, and especially to the families affected by this tragic event.

In these challenging times, we stand with you and express our readiness to provide any necessary humanitarian assistance, including the deployment of emergency and medical teams, should the need arise.

We sincerely wish you and your colleagues continued strength, health, and success in your noble humanitarian efforts.
