Iranian Red Crescent establishes six medical centers in Mecca for Hajj pilgrims

TEHRAN, 05 May 2026 (IRCS) – The Iranian Red Crescent has established five clinics and one polyclinic in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, to provide medical services to pilgrims during the Hajj ceremony.

According to Dr. Ali Akbar Jangjoo, Deputy for Hajj and Umrah at the Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), these centers include the Meydan, Arkan Bake, Efadolziafah, Abraj Navazi, and Ilaf Ghanvan clinics, as well as the Asil Nooran Polyclinic. 

“The Asil Nooran Polyclinic provides specialty and subspecialty services, including Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, Neurology, and Dentistry.”  he added.
