The crash occurred early Wednesday morning, 13 August 2025, when a bus collided with a minibus. Five Iranian Arbaeen pilgrims lost their lives and 57 others were injured.
The IRCS immediately dispatched eight ambulances to the scene. All injured individuals were transported to hospitals in Abadan for specialized medical care.
