Of these 18 women, 11 were from West Azarbaijan Province, while the remaining seven were from Kurdistan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Fars, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, and East Azerbaijan provinces.

In addition, eight children, six of them in West Azarbaijan Province, were transferred to safe locations.

The Iranian Red Crescent called on people to contact IRCS 112 emergency number (Relief Voice) while they are at risk of natural or man-made disasters. 112 emergency number can be reached even without SIM-card.
