Following the accident, which occurred at 22:10 (local time) on Monday, 16 December 2025, six Red Crescent rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the scene.

"So far, 13 individuals have lost their lives in this accident,” said Mojtaba Khaledi, spokesperson for the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS). “The accident has also left 11 injured, who were given first aid by Red Crescent teams and then transported to medical centers.”
