The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) deployed 11 operational teams to combat a major fire at the Venous commercial complex in Bandar Anzali, Guilan, within the Anzali Free Zone on the morning of 22 July.

The fire broke out in a clothing warehouse located on the complex's second floor and spread rapidly. Upon notification, Red Crescent teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. An IRCS helicopter was also utilized, conducting 10 water-dropping sorties to help extinguish the blaze.

During the response, Red Crescent aid workers assisted 222 people in evacuating the complex safely. Additionally, 13 individuals received first aid at the scene, while three others were transported to medical centers for further treatment.
