Mojtaba Khaledi, the IRCS spokesman, visited the hospital where the injured are being treated, accompanied by a team of experts.
On behalf of Dr. Pir Hossein Kolivand, President of the Iranian Red Crescent, Mr. Khaledi conveyed his sympathy to the injured and emphasized the Society's commitment to providing all necessary support for their recovery.
The Iranian Red Crescent helicopter crashed on October 3rd in the Oshtorankuh mountains of Lorestan province when it was carrying out a rescue mission. On board were nine individuals: four flight crew members and five Red Crescent rescuers. The pilot, Captain Mohsen Mehrabzadeh, and the flight engineer, Captain Seyyed Hassan Mir Ghazi, lost their lives at the crash site.
