The President of the Iranian Red Crescent, Pir Hossein Kolivand, said today that 81,365 civilian units have been damaged in the airstrikes so far. Of these, 61,555 are residential units and 19,020 are commercial units across provinces, along with several medical and educational facilities, significantly affecting people’s livelihoods and economic infrastructure.
Furthermore, 24,605 residential and commercial units have been damaged in Tehran province.
275 medical centers including hospital, EMS post, Health center and pharmacy have been dameged in direct or indirect airstrikes.
Moreover, 498 schools have been damaged by direct or indirect airstrikes, leaving 206 students and teachers martyred and another 154 wounded.
17 centers affiliated with the Iranian Red Crescent, three relief helicopters and 48 relief vehicles, including 35 ambulances affiliated with the Iranian Red Crescent and Emergency Medical Service have been targeted and damaged in the US‑Israeli airstrikes, according to Mr. Kolivand.
Furthermore, 10 aid workers of the Iranian Red Crescent in the cities of Tehran, Mah Abad and Khomein have been wounded and one aid worker in Esfahan has been martyred.
"This dear martyr was a shining symbol of the spirit of self‑sacrifice, humanitarianism, and dedication of aid workers who, in the most critical moments and without seeking recognition, shield people with their own lives," said Mr. Kolivand.
Kolivand stated that attacks on aid workers constitute a violation of the red lines of humanitarian law.
Among medical staff, 21 individuals have been martyred and 103 injured, he noted.
“According to reports, in addition to residential areas, infrastructure such as hospitals, airports, water and wastewater facilities, and relief warehouses have also been damaged. This has increased the risk of secondary health and environmental crises.” president of the IRCS added.
