On the first day of the Persian New Year, 21 March, Pir Hossein Kolivand, President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), visited the Society’s operational zones in northern and central Tehran, as well as the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at the Tehran Red Crescent Provincial Branch.

He expressed appreciation for the relief workers’ efforts during the airstrikes on Tehran and congratulated them on the arrival of the New Year and Eid al‑Fitr.

Furthermore, a few hours before the arrival of the Persian New Year on the ‎previous day, Mr. Kolivand visited the ‎Society’s operational zones in southern, eastern, and western Tehran, ‎expressing his gratitude to aid workers.‎
