IRCS Volunteer Martyred in Airstrike in Khansar, Isfahan Province
ISFAHAN, 27 March 2026 (IRCS) - Ms. Somayyeh Mir Abo Eshagh, a rescuer, instructor, and volunteer with the Iranian Red Crescent in Khansar, Isfahan Province, was martyred in an airstrike on the city.
Before her martyrdom, she had been hospitalized for several days due to the injuries she sustained in the attack.
The President of the Iranian Red Crescent issued a message of condolence.
“She was not only an aid worker, but also a symbol of humanity, dedication, and an endless love for service; a woman who, on the path of helping her compatriots, offered her life and achieved the highest honor — martyrdom,” part of the message from Dr. Kolivand.
