IRCS Offers more than 2 Million medical Services to Arbaeen pilgrims

Karbala (IRCS) - The Iranian Red Crescent Society provides services to pilgrims of Arbaeen in Iraq around the clock.

To date, the IRCS has offered more than 2 million medical and health services to pilgrims of Arbaeen, Iraq, according to Dr. Pir Hossein Kolivnd, the IRCS President.

“A number of pilgrims are worried about their relatives who may went missing, but some of these missing people have been admitted to hospitals due to heatstroke,” said the IRCS president. “For this reason, the necessary measures have been taken to ensure that no pilgrims remain in Iraq, and the necessary arrangements have been made by the Iraqi Ministry of Health, the hashed all-Shaabi and the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, so that the Iraqi Ministry of Health to render the list of hospitalized patients to Iran’s embassy and consulate.”

Supplying two million liters of serum from Iraq, IRCS is prepared to fully respond to all patients, particularly those affected by heatstroke.

Moreover, the Iranian Red Crescent had sent 300 tons of medication to Iraq to cover the medical needs of pilgrims during Arbaeen.

This year, September 17th is equal to Arbaeen's anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hossein (PBUH).
