Mr. Araghchi expressed appreciation for the efforts of IRCS volunteers providing medical services to pilgrims.

“The services of the Iranian Red Crescent in Iraq are entirely voluntary, carried out out of devotion to Imam Hossein (AS),” stated Mr. Araghchi. "Words cannot adequately express our gratitude for these voluntary efforts by the Red Crescent's personnel and the organizational work of its managers.”

Meanwhile, the IRCS Emergency Operations Control and Coordination Center reported that between the beginning of the Islamic month of Safar (26 July) and the morning of 20 Safar (14 August), the Iranian Red Crescent provided nearly 4.1 million medical services to Arbaeen pilgrims in Iraq.
