Yamoussoukro, 24 May 2023 (IRCS) – The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has opened its radiology facility (medical imaging center) in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, to serve patients.
This center is a part of the IRCS’ polyclinic in Abidjan, which was opened in the presence of Iran’s embassy charge d'affaires in Ivory Coast, the representative of the Ivory Coast’s Health Ministry and a number of the health executives of Abidjan city.
The IRCS has provided quick and low-priced access to radiology services for nearly three million inhabitants in the underprivileged city, according to Sadeq Mobarrezi, head of the IRCS’ polyclinic in Abidjan.
On the sidelines of the opening ceremony, the dentistry unit was also unveiled.
With facilities of General practitioner, Gynecology, Midwifery, Sonography, Laboratory, Mother and child care, Optometry, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Laboratory, the polyclinic of the Iranian Red Crescent has been serving to patients in Abidjan since 2004.
