Over the past six days, the Red Crescent has distributed relief items, including blankets, tents, moquettes, food parcels, mineral water, canned food, loaves of bread, and hygiene kits, to those impacted by snow, floods and stranded travelers.
To date, relief services have reached 89 areas in the provinces of East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Isfahan, Ilam, Bushehr, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Khuzestan, Zanjan, Fars, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Lorestan, Markazi, and Hamadan.
Red Crescent aid workers have assisted 4,174 individuals, transported one pregnant woman to a medical center, provided emergency accommodation for 790 people, relocated 93 individuals to safe areas, pumped water from 217 residential units, and recovered 669 vehicles stuck in the snow.
These efforts involved 147 operational teams and 139 relief vehicles, including 61 ambulances.
Relief operations continue in some areas, with the Red Crescent remaining on full alert until weather conditions improve.
