Until yesterday evening, 237 critically ill Iranian pilgrims were taken to Iranian Red Crescent and Saudi Arabian hospitals, according to Dr. Seyyed Ali Marashi, head of the IRCS Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Centre.
Most of the patients were discharged after receiving medical services and currently only three patients are hospitalized for more treatment.
To date, 10,442 medical and health services have been provided to pilgrims at the IRCS clinics of Mecca and Medina.
Pilgrims were primarily provided with services such as electrocardiograms, blood pressure and glucose tests, injections, dressings and serum treatments.
