IRCS President Pir Hossein Kolivand sent separate official letters to Yaseen Ahmed Abbass, President of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, and Farzana Naik, Chairperson of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society.

This comes in response to a massive fire that engulfed a large shopping center in Iraq’s eastern city of Kut, and severe monsoon floods affecting multiple regions of Pakistan, particularly Punjab province.

In his messages, Kolivand stated the IRCS stands ready to offer humanitarian aid to both nations.

He also extended condolences to the families impacted by these devastating events.
