The Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran extends its respectful greetings to you, your colleagues, and the dedicated volunteers of the Russian Red Cross Society.

With deep sorrow, we have learned of the tragic crash of a passenger plane in eastern Russia- a tragic incident that sadly resulted in the loss of all 49 crew members and passengers.

On behalf of the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we offer our heartfelt condolences and solidarity to you, the Russian Red Cross Society, and especially to the bereaved families affected by this tragic incident.

In these difficult moments, we stand with you and express our readiness to provide any necessary humanitarian assistance, if needed.
