During this time, 51 mountainous roads, three cities and 39 villages were in need of aid services.
As reported by the Relief and Rescue Organization of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), the Iranian Red Crescent aid workers aided 13,249 individuals and provided emergency shelter to 5,376 people, with 75 individuals being relocated to safe areas.
The aid workers also rescued 909 vehicles stuck in the snow and removed water from 68 homes.
A total of 326 relief teams, which included 1313 aid workers and rescuers, participated in the relief efforts during the five-day period of snow and blizzard.
