IRCS holds Workshop on Movement’s role in Treatment and Rehabilitation

TEHRAN, 16 September 2025 (IRCS) – The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) organized a workshop titled “An Introduction to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement's Role in Treatment and Rehabilitation” for its staff in the Health, Treatment, and Rehabilitation sector.

The event, held on September 15, featured addresses from Razieh Alishavandi, IRCS Under-Secretary-General for International Affairs and International Humanitarian Law; Vincent Cassard, Head of the ICRC Delegation in Iran and Dr. Hamid Dehghan, IRCS Under-Secretary-General for Health, Treatment, and Rehabilitation.

The Iranian Red Crescent Society operates 15 health centers across Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
