During his tour, Mr. Kolivand spoke with IRCS aid workers and volunteers, appreciating the efforts underway for the well-being of the pilgrims.
Pilgrims travel approximately 463 kilometers from Bashmaq to reach Karbala.
Mr Kolivand also visited the Khosravi , Mehran and Shalamcheh Border Terminals in Kermanshah, Ilam and Khuzestan provinces.
So far, 700,000 relief and treatment services have been provided to pilgrims in Iraq by the Iranian Red Crescent in cooperation with the Iraqi Health Ministry, the Iraqi Red Crescent, and Hashd al-Shaabi, according to Mr. Kolivand.
