According to Dr. Ali Marashi, Head of the IRCS Hajj and Pilgrimage Medical Center, more than 3,138,000 health and medical services were provided to pilgrims from the beginning of Safar (26 July) until the morning of 18 Safar (12 August).
Services included:
- Serum Therapy: 107,710 recipients
- General Physician Visits: 721,450 recipients
- Specialist Physician Visits: 231,848 recipients
- Paramedical Services: 975,505 recipients
- Pharmaceutical Services: 1,173,471 recipients
Dr. Marashi also urged pilgrims to prioritize safety: “The Iranian Red Crescent advises all pilgrims to heed safety recommendations along the Arbaeen procession route. Avoid walking during the hottest parts of the day and postpone travel until cooler evening hours to minimize heatstroke risks.”
